Superfood Burger

Ingredients

  • Mince Patties
  • 250gm premium beef mince

  • 2 Tbsp GF oats 

  • 1 egg

  • 1.5-2 Tbsp curry powder

  • Salt/ pepper

  • 3 Tbsp tomato chutney 

  • 1 Tbsp mixed herbs or chopped fresh parsley or thyme

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • Toppings
  • Salad (lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, avocado)

  • Grated beetroot & carrot

  • Sauerkraut

  • Organic Mustard

  • Watercress

  • Grilled or fresh pineapple

Directions

  • Combine mince, curry powder, oats, egg, seasonings, tomato chutney, chilli flakes. Use a tablespoon and roll out mixture to form approx. 4-5 balls then press down with a fork into a meat patty. 
  • Heat a pan over medium heat with 2 tbsp olive oil. Place patties into fry pan and cook at medium heat for approx. 5 mins each side (or cooked to your liking). 
  • Serve between two lettuce leaves and pack full of sauerkraut, organic mustard, salad, beetroot/ carrot and watercress.
