For over three years I have been bulimic and I didn’t see a way out, it all seemed so hard. I knew I was hurting my body, I hadn’t had a period in two years! and my mental health was in dir need of a helping hand. On seeing an add about the hormone Dutch test offered by Key Nutrition I took the first step in realising I need to help myself.
From the get go Annelies was super supportive and understanding, her calm kind nature came across every time we spoke. It was an eye opening experience as to what my body could achieve but included in that how good I could feel during the whole process.

Initially I had reached out to Annelies to help with my energy levels as I was tired all the time and still trying to balance Mum life, work with early starts, crossfit and also competing in strongman. Through her help, I manage to lift my energy levels, one occasion was when I had qualified for Crossfit Individual Nationals 2019, and it is a big two day competition where you are tested 110%. I felt my recovery was the best it had been since I had started competing.
In addition I had her help with my first experience of cutting weight for my Strongman Nationals I had qualified for. I hadn't been under a particular weight in years, so I was sceptical if I would make weight. Thanks for Annelies I did(easliy!!). I learnt alot with what worked for my body, like consuming bone broth and that I could actually eat carbs for breakfast/lunch AND still lose weight.
It was an eye opening experience as to what my body could achieve but included in that how good I could feel during the whole process.
What I love and am grateful for now is knowing that if I am having tired, or unenergised, I can do my own self analysis to make required changes to feel 100% again.

Before I started seeing Anneliese I struggled a lot with food, I could train all day but then I would go home and eat my whole body weight. I think previously my mindset was more about eating for pleasure not to fuel by body. I also had no idea what or how to cook and I snacked a little too much. I had known about Anneliese for most of the time that I did crossfit, I’d seen her all over social media but was too scared to contact her. Gaining the courage to contact her would have probably been a choice I made to help better my crossfit performance. I've always been pretty thick which I am ok with but since seeing her I.ve lost 3kgs in body weight which is a lot for me. Many of her tips have become habits and others I must keep working on a day-by-day basis.

I decided to search for a nutritionist because I was overweight. My weight was always the same even though I was always on a ``diet`` and avoiding eating burgers, cakes, etc.
I was very lucky because a coach from my gym recommended me to Annalies.
Annalies has taught me to focus on the amount of body fat that I wanted to lose and not on weight only. She has also taught me to listen to my body; eating if I'm hungry and checking the portion size.
I've never liked cooking, yet I've learned delicious and easy-to-make recipes. Recipes that have nutrients, so I can avoid consuming unnecessary calories. My favourite recipe is the chicken cashew nut stir-fry.
My energy levels have improved, and when I feel with low energy I can relate that it was because I haven't eaten properly.
I've learned a lot from her, for example, that it's okay to want to eat more one day and not feel guilty about it. Many of her tips have become habits and others I must keep working on a day-by-day basis (do some exercise every day or at least 3 days a week 😉).
I cannot sum up my experience in just one word, but I can say that I highly recommend her and I do it every time I have.
I miss our follow-up consultations because she always thought me something new, and she highlighted my improvement and encouraged me to keep moving forward.
On top of that, she has some beautiful puppies to play with.

Just wanted to message and say I’m really happy with the meal plan. Being some one who is busy with a toddler, baby under 1 and studying full time I have found cooking at home to be impossible some nights and this plan was tailored to a busy schedule and super easy to adapt to. my family and I who aren’t very big on vegetables every night actually enjoyed all the healthy and delicious options and I feel like I’ve had a burst of energy and mental clarity over the last month. Even with a teething baby my nutrition weighed out the sleepless nights and I was still able to chug through and get past a long day of study without plateauing.
