Here is a refreshing healthy alternative to quench that thirst and satisfy those sweet cravings. You can get creative with this tea and pretty much add any fruit, herbs or tea flavours you wish! My favourite combination is mint leaves, sliced lemon and a little bit of honey! This is packed full of antioxidants, Vitamin C, anti-inflammatory properties, B Vitamins and flavonoids!
Iced Tea to Quench that thirst

3 x herbal tea bags soaked in 500ml boiling water
1 x lemon sliced
1 handful of mint leaves
500ml cold filtered water
1 Tbsp Manuka honey
Ice to top up
Directions
- Soak the tea bags in the boiling water for 5-10 minutes.
- Add all ingredients into jug, mix and put into fridge until cold.
- Serve with ice and enjoy on a hot summer’s day!
