Healthy Homemade Granola

Dont waste your money on the store-bought stuff that is high in sugar, contains unhealthy fats and oils, is packed full of fillers and unnecessary ingredients. This recipe ticks all the right health boxes, contains loads of fibre, iron, magnesium, protein, folate, omega 6, B Vitamins and loads of antioxidants. You can whip this up in under 15 minutes and should give you approx 7-8 servings.

Healthy Homemade Granola



Prep time




  • 2 cups rolled oats (or GF)

  • 1/2 cup natural nuts

  • 1/2 cup dried fruit

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup seeds (pumpkin and sunflower are good)

  • 5 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

  • 2 Tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

  • 2 tsp cinnamon


  • Mix everything together with the wet ingredients and place on a pre-lined baking paper tray in 180 degree oven.
  • Cook until toasted (approx 10-15 mins) then remove and allow to cool.
  • I added 1/4 cup shredded coconut then placed in a sealed container which will stay fresh for 10-12 days.
