This basic Meatloaf Recipe  will be popular amongst the males in your house, family friendly and is the perfect lunch idea to bring to work! Full of protein, iron, B Vitamins and Fibre!

Basic Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500gm pork mince

  • 500g premium beef mince

  • 1 Tbsp nutmeg

  • 1 Tbsp curry powder

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 Tbsp beef stock

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup tomato relish

  • Salt & pepper

  • 2 grated carrots

  • 1 grated zucchini

Directions

  • Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and fold together until everything is well combined. Place into 2 x small- medium pre-lined baking loafs and firmly press down.
  • Place in pre-heated fan bake oven at 150 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until cooked through.
  • Serve with a side of green vegetables, kumara mash or a delicious salad.
